Mr. Sajid Akram Zahid set up this consulting firm in Karachi (Pakistan) in 1961. The core client base in 1961 comprised the life insurance industry.

IMPORTANT MILE STONES:

1961 - Establishment of first client pension plan.

1970 - Mr. S. A. Zahid is actuary to the largest number of life insurance companies in Pakistan.

1972 - Mr. S. A. Zahid asked to draft a plan for establishment of the State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan.

1984 - Mr. R. H. Zahid begins the process of computerizing the valuation system.

1987 - Firm conducts first FAS87 and SSAP24 valuations in Pakistan.

1988 - Mr. R. H. Zahid conducts first post-retirement medical plan valuations in Pakistan.

1993 - Mr. Rashid Husain Zahid becomes partner and the firm is renamed Zahid & Zahid.

2004 - Mr. S. A. Zahid passes away and Ms. Zahra Eeman Zahid becomes a partner of the firm.
